The Keumsil Cultural Society
The Keumsil Cultural Society was established in 1993 as a non-profit organization with the commitment to preservation and promotion of Korean heritage and culture, as well as enrichment of public life in the United States.  Since establishment, the Keumsil Cultural Society has organized and supported many cultural activities, ranging from Korean folk dance performances to art exhibitions, from community workshops to participate various cultural festivals and art competitions. As an agency with a mission to promote cultural exchanges and mutural understanding between cultures, the Keumsil Cultural Society has served the general American public as well as the Korean-American communities. The Keumsil Cultural Society has had the honor to make significant contributions to American culture, while promoting and advocating greater visibility of Korean art forms and traditions.  The participation of Korean communities in the public life of the United States has increased substantially over the past years, contributing to the growing diversity of American culture.
